Every project starts the same way — with curiosity.

A home that doesn’t feel quite right — and the sense that something needs to change.

That’s usually when my clients reach out.

When we meet for the ORIA Interiors Consultation, it’s not about measurements or mood boards. It’s a genuine conversation — one that helps uncover how you live, what inspires you, and what you truly need your home to do for you. It’s a focused, working session designed to bring clarity and direction from the very beginning.

The Experience

Each consultation is tailored to your project, so the discussion stays focused on what will have the greatest impact at this stage.

We start by walking through your space together.

You might point to a corner that never gets enough light, or a layout that never quite worked. As you talk, I listen — not only to what you say, but to what the space reveals: how light moves through it, how furniture guides your path, how colours affect your mood.

Often, we’re not just solving for how a space looks, but for how it supports your sense of calm, focus, or ease in everyday life.

I’ll ask questions you may not expect — about routines, materials, even how you make your morning coffee — because these small details shape decisions around layout, lighting, and flow in ways that aren’t always immediately visible.

Depending on your project, the focus of the consultation may shift. For renovation projects, we often prioritize layout, function, and spatial planning — the foundational decisions that shape everything that follows — rather than final furnishings or styling details.

By the end of our two-hour session, you’ll have more than ideas. You’ll have clarity — not just in direction, but in the many decisions that once felt overwhelming, now organized into a clear and manageable path forward.

If you’re using the consultation as a standalone service, you’ll also receive a written summary of our discussion — a practical guide you can return to as you move forward.

The Intention Behind It

My background in law taught me to notice details, structure decisions, and guide clients with confidence. Design lets me translate that structure into something softer — a process that brings beauty and order together.

That balance shapes every consultation. It’s where creativity meets precision, and where your project begins to take form.

This meeting is also the first step in our 15-Step ORIA Interiors Experience — a structured process designed to guide your project from early ideas to final installation, with clarity at every stage.

The Outcome

For many clients, the consultation becomes the starting point for full-service design. Others use it as a standalone session to move forward with clarity on their own. Either way, the goal is the same: to leave you with a sense of calm and confidence — knowing exactly what comes next.

Because good design doesn’t begin with answers.

It begins with the right questions — and a clear way forward.

If you’re planning a project — or simply need clarity before making decisions — I’d love to meet you.

Get in touch when you’re ready when you’re ready to create a home that feels as good as it looks.
